FinFit brings unlimited live telephone and online financial coaching to millions of employees
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–FinFit, a FinTech company that provides over 125,000 employers with a unique financial wellness benefit platform, today announced that it will offer live financial coaching to all of its members free of charge. FinFit members are now able to connect with certified financial counselors who can answer questions and provide insightful guidance on financial-related issues. This includes one-on-one budget coaching to help with specific debt concerns, guidance with mortgage, vehicle or student loan decisions and more.
“Financial stress often stems from common issues such as carrying too much debt, not earning enough money or the expense of raising kids,” said David Kilby, President of FinFit. “We want to make financial wellness available to the masses and give everyone an opportunity to relieve financial stress. With the introduction of live financial coaching to the FinFit platform, all of our members can now work alongside certified financial counselors to take control of current financial challenges.”
FinFit’s new service is available to all members via phone or email during business hours, Monday through Friday. All phone calls are answered live in less than 15 seconds, where members can receive immediate answers to their financial questions, ranging from budgeting tips to advice on how to handle debt and creditors. The counselors maintain certifications and training from AFCPE and NACC and undergo strict testing, along with required annual education specifically in personal money education to maintain their credentials. Counselors have worked a minimum of 500 hours directly with individuals and their financial concerns, before being accepted as part of the coaching team. The team of coaches has over 30 years of experience and has handled more than half a million cases.
As a comprehensive financial wellness program, FinFit offers unique, easy to use personal finance tools that are tailored to each employee’s unique situation. In addition to live financial coaching, the tools include personalized financial assessments, online education tools and resources, student loan services, an early wage access solution, game-based education, budgeting apps, as well as credit and banking resources to assist the 75 percent of Americans who do not have enough money saved for unexpected expenses.
